About Endebess Constituency

Endebess constituency was created by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Gazette Supplement No 83, Legal Notice No 185 in line with Article 89 (delimitation of electoral units) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.It was curved out of the larger Kwanza Constituency. The constituency lies between latitude 1° 4' 0" North and Longitude 34° 51' 0" East. It Boarders Uganda to the West, Kwanza Constituency to the North East and Sabaot Constituency to the South East. The Constituency covers a total area of 680 Km2. It is the largest constituency in Trans-Nzoia County.
According to 2009 population and housing census, Endebess constituency had a population of 91,192 disaggregated by gender as; male – 45,875 and female – 45,317. This population was projected to be: 130,708 (male – 65,754 and female – 64,954) in 2019. This is expected to grow to135, 499 (male – 68,164 and female – 67,335) in 2022.
